Kaushar is a Management and Training Consultant and Director of Aksaa, specialising in delivering soft skills training courses including Leadership and Management; Personal and Professional Development and People Management; Business Ethics; Positive Parenting and Marriage Courses. He also delivers Islamic Cultural Awareness and Cultural Competency Training for non-Muslim public sector professionals and the civil service.
Since the establishment of his company in the year 2004, over 25,500 people have attended the Islam Awareness Course in over 80 different local authority locations across the UK with very positive feedback. He has also successfully delivered these courses in the USA, Canada, India, France, Sweden, and Barbados. Over 10,500 people have gone through the spiritual and personal development courses for the Muslim Community across the UK. This included the most popular courses: marriage; positive parenting; leadership and management, business ethics, essential qualities of a believer, personal development, and overcoming anxiety in light of the Quran and Hadith.
Kaushar has held senior management positions in Health and Social Care fields and Regeneration programmes and is a qualified Health and Social Care professional with experience in managing large and complex projects. Some of the Senior Management positions held include Programme Manager for SureStart, Chief Executive of Batley Community Development Ltd., Health Promotion Manager for the Department of Public Health & Medicine, and Assistant Director of Equal Access at the Leeds Hospitals NHS Trust.
In his voluntary capacity, Kaushar has served as a Non-Executive Director on the Primary Care Trust Board, Dewsbury College Board, School Governor Board, and the Police Authority Board. He was also a Speaker for Water Aid in Schools, Churches, and Community Groups. For 11 years he was also sitting on the Employment Tribunal Panel in Leeds as a Lay member and a Special Member hearing race and religious discrimination cases. For several years, he was an accredited Mediator for West Yorkshire Mediation Service. He has been the co-chair of North Kirklees Interfaith Council, championing dialogue between faith communities and actively promoting peaceful co-existence and working. He has been a Panel member of a Fostering Agency as well the IRM – Independent Review Panel. As a Foster Carer, he has assisted many local authorities and independent fostering agencies in recruiting Muslim Foster Carers across the UK.
He holds an MSc in Social Sciences, a Professional Certificate in Management, a Social Work qualification, and a diploma in Business and Management.
Kaushar has also delivered a diploma course on Employability Skills for Calderdale College and an online Leadership and Management and the Advanced Certificate in Chaplaincy Course for Al-Balagh Academy.
Kaushar has also completed NLP, MBTI, PTTLS, CTTLS, CELTA, Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work, and First Aid in Mental Health. His company, Aksaa is a registered and accredited learning Centre for CPD – Continuous Professional Development.

Farooq Murad is son of late Khuram Murad. He has worked as a management and training consultant, and developed community regeneration solutions in the fields of education, training and employment. He has also delivered community and cross-cultural training programmes for government departments and the voluntary sector. Dr. Rafik Beekun is Professor of Strategy and Ethics, and former Chair of the Management Sciences Department at the University of Nevada. He obtained his MBA and Ph.D from the University of Texas, and his BA and MA from Columbia University, and is a former Fulbright Senior Scholar to Mauritius and to Turkey. He specializes in strategic management, business ethics, and leadership as well as on the relationship between management and spirituality. Dr. Beekun has published in many academic journals including the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Decision Sciences, Human Relations, Journal of Management, Journal of Business, Ethics, etc. He has published several books, and is working on a couple of new ones in the areas of leadership and business ethics. In 2012, he served as co-editor of a special issue of the Journal of Management Development. He has consulted globally for IKEA (Saudi Arabia), Savola, and formed part of consulting teams working with IBM, Proton and the World Bank.
Dr. Muhammad Wajid Akhter is a medical doctor. He is current Secretary General of Muslim Council of Britian. He is also the founder of a variety of multi-national projects including Charity Week for orphans and children in need, FIMA Lifesavers and the co-founder of the Islamic History Channel. He is also a founding member of the British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA) and the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management. Osman Sheikh has an interest healthcare chaplaincy, community development and education. This has been from policy formulation and service delivery perspectives.
Born in Kenya, Osman spent nine years in India pursuing higher religious studies and gained qualifications in Theology and Jurisprudence. Osman embraces classical positions in Islamic jurisprudence but with an eager eye for its application within contemporary contexts.
Osman has been involved in chaplaincy work over a decade providing pastoral and spiritual care to staff, patients and relatives. He mentors Muslim Seminary graduates by helping them navigate career aspirations.

Dr Javed Akhtar became Consultant Cardiologist in 1989 and joined as Consultant Cardiologist at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals in 2004.
Dr Akhtar is Lead for Pacemaker Implantation Service at BHR NHS trust which he has established and implants approximately 150 pacemakers every year.
Dr Akhtar is a Senior Cardiologist and has a long range of interest and extensive experience in all the major fields of Cardiology. He is in-charge of the cardiology training programme at Queen’s Hospital for the Specialist Registrars (trainees to become cardiologist), junior doctors and cardiac physiologists. He is also training supervisor for MSc and Diploma in Cardiology.
Dr Akhtar continues to give talks and interviews on various Asian TV channels. His interviews have been relayed live on BBC international radio programmes on topics related to the heart.
Dr Javed Akhtar has written a Book in 2023 – “Parenting and Nurturing Muslim Children in the Digital Era” His book is is an invaluable guide for Muslim parents navigating the challenges of raising children in today’s digital landscape.
Prof. Dr. Dawood AL-Hidabi is a Professor of Education at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and Director of the International Institute for Muslim Unity (IIMU). He holds a BSc in Physics (1977) from Sanaa University, Yemen, and a P.G.C.E, MEd, and PhD in Education from the UK (1980-1986).
He served at Sanaa University (1987-2015) and was the founding president of the University of Science and Technology, Yemen (1994-2007). With over 140 publications, 150 supervised theses, and co-authored textbooks, he is a prolific scholar. Currently, he is Editor-in-Chief of three academic journals and serves on advisory boards for numerous national and international education journals.
At IIUM since 2016, he has held roles including Assistant to the Deputy Rector for Internationalization and Chairman of the Islamic Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (FUIW).
